In testing the LDM Connect app with the Laser Dimension Master 165-BT, the goal is to replace hand-written onsite measurements with a digital workflow. It organizes measurements by project, attaches photos, and supports sharing via email to the team.

• The main screen presents a list of Projects. The number of projects is limited only by the device's available storage, and the count of Photos is shown beside each project name.
• Measurements captured within a Project are automatically saved with time and date, and the most recent items appear at the top. Entries can be added, edited, deleted, renamed, or tagged with up to 25 characters (e.g., “south bedroom window”).
• Complete Projects, including all Measurements and Photos, can be emailed to colleagues to improve communication, documentation, and workflow. Additional notes or questions can be included to aid understanding.

The Bluetooth-enabled connection between the Laser Dimension Master 165-BT and Apple devices is designed to streamline data capture and synchronization on the jobsite.

From a reviewer’s perspective, the combination of hardware and software offers a centralized, timestamped record of measurements and imagery intended to enhance accuracy and efficiency at the field level.
